Too Many Errors

I bought this hoping to brush up on my Chem before continuing with my degree. However I rely on answers being CORRECT - otherwise how are you supposed to know if you missed something? I ran into several issues within the first 2 sections and thought maybe I misunderstood something. Then when I saw the ANSWER claiming 5,000,000 / 6.02x10^23 = 8.3x10^23 I knew this book had not been checked for errors at all. How can you miss a change in exponents? I have found MANY, MANY errors in this book in only the first 2 sections. I could excuse these if Barron's had an errata page I could print out, but alas I can't find anything. It's a well written book and I'd rate it much higher if the answers were correct. If you are unsure of your math or chem, look elsewhere. If you are certain of your skills, then you probably don't need this book anyway.

Good concepts, terrible editing.

Forgotten chemistry is a book that was clearly not edited by someone with a science background. The text is clear and an acceptable review of the concepts, however problems and examples are laden with terrible mistakes.

Gah! Barron's website offers no help, no errata. Try something else if this frustrates you as much as it does me!

This book makes chemistry so much easier than the way I learned it in college. It's a great refresher and information is presented very well. However, there are many errors in the answers to the excercises. Otherwise, a very good book.

Lots of sex!

I'll start by saying that I think JP is a very good writer. There is depth to her characters and lots of drama in her plots. But I don't always like the characters. That was true with this book. I didn't particularly like Ethan. Yes he has trust issues, I won't spoil it here, but I didn't feel he made good choices and I didn't like how he treated Jayden. I don't think Jayden understood what he was getting in to, and don't think Ethan introduced Jayden to BDSM in the best way. I liked Lexi and the relationship between the three of them, but Ethan and Jayden alone didn't always work for me. Just my opinion...

That being said, I liked the story overall. Good drama amongst the three of them, good external drama as well, although it detracts from the relationship focused story line sometimes. Good sex (almost a bit too much), but a rough ending. As with the Little Boy Lost series, there isn't a happy ending for all parties. Yet. Took a bunch of books in the LBL series, I'm hoping we'll get that here. I'm off to read the next book...

I absolutely loved this book and feel the least I could do to show my support for this author was to give it a raving review. I was impressed by the reviews it recieved and intrigued by the synopsis so I gave it a try. I'm so grateful I did. It was truly an emotional experience.

I have read a few good books lately, but not since Twilight. Yes, Twilight, Have I read a book where it was an emotional experience and I felt a serious loss after reading the last page. I didn't want the book to end.

I was absolutely enraptured by the relationship between Jayden and Ethan. Two sizzling hot guys. I have to admit, I never developed any strong feelings for Lexi, but I can appreciate her importance to the story and Jayden and Ethan's story.

The sex was HOTT. It kept you in a perpetual state of arousal, which was sick. And the dialogue was unbelievable. The author used a minimal amount of dialogue during the sex/love scenes but the impact was tremendous.

My only complaint is that there were a few sections that I totally skipped because they paled in comparison to the scenes featuring the three main characters.

I am eagerly awaiting the next book. You will not be disappointed with this book.

I just thought that this book was OK. I felt like there was too much going on for it to have ended the way that it did. I felt very unfufilled at the end. There is supposedly a continuation, and I will likely read it to get a sense of what happened.

As far as the sensualness, the book was very hot as far as sex scenes and BDSM sessions go, but the story was lacking.

Also, , there were spelling errors in the book. There was a big one where instead of using the word indicated, the word indicted was used. That gets me out of the world of the characters and back into reality very quickly. It's like splashing cold water on someone.
I feel like if I am paying fo the book, then someone needs to do some editing. It certainly wasn't the worst as far as typos and grammar goes, but it does have a few in there.
